9. Do Not Double Post

In these forums, a double post consists of any two consecutive posts from the same user. It does not matter whether or not the contents differ -- if no one else's words or opinions come between two posts from the same person, it's a double post. Since the forums are growing extremely fast, and the moderators have limited time, those who ignore the edit button and repeatedly double/triple/quadruple post can have their second, third, fourth, etc, posts deleted without notice, and without having their contents pasted onto the first post as per usual.
Use the EDIT Button
As the EDIT button will never disappear, you can always go back to edit your last post and add new thoughts. The practice of "bumping" is highly discouraged in these forums. If people wish to respond to your thread, they will add their opinions without the need of repeated spammed "bumps." Repeated "bumping" of a thread will most likely lead to the thread's deletion, instead.
Some questions are harder to answer than others, if no one replies then they do not know. I don't know if there is any in-game feature for such a thing, but some gaming keyboards support macros

A macro in computer science is an abstraction, whereby a certain textual pattern is replaced according to a defined set of rules.

The term macro is used in many similar contexts which are derived from the concept of macro-expansion, including keyboard macros and macro languages. In most situations, the use of the word "macro" implies expanding a small command or action into a larger set of instructions.

The purpose of macros is to either automate frequently-used sequences or enable a more powerful abstraction ??? but these are often the same thing.

Keyboard macros and editor macros are used interactively on a graphical user interface and text editor, respectively. These allow short sequences of keystrokes to substitute long sequences of commands, and can provide a simple form of automation for repetitive tasks.
I hope this helps, and please avoid bumping in the future, good luck

You can program key macros in a programmable keyboard such as an Nostromo. Many of the in game functions can be assigned a hotkey. Check out the UI to see if there is a function that you need. As far as the target call I'm not sure since I just use the old ctrl-spacebar and shift-ctrl-spacebar.

To answer the OP: No, currently GW client does not allow this. You also cannot change the functionality of ctrl, alt or shift keys. You also cannot bind actions to mouse clicks. Apparently, behavior of these have been hard-coded and are not customizable. I would jump with joy, if a future update changed this.

The hardware or third-party software macro solutions presented by Nivryx and Fyre Brand sound like viable alternatives, however. Give it a try.

but i was thinking using third party macro applications was along the same lines as bots/trainers, therefore against Anets EULA. i could easily code my own little application just to capture kepresses of V n send Shift+Ctrl+Space to the GW client, but illegal no?

This has been brought up before and if search is working look for 'macros' and such. Basically a Nostromo is a piece of hardware with programmable keys. This is way different than a third party program that performs scripted actions. Although if you use your programmable keyboard to perform scripted actions then I suppose you could get banned. I know before I cancelled my Lineage account someone had been banned for using an N52 to spam sales junk in the chat channel. So I believe it can also depend on how you use it.

As a thumbrule -- Programming a keyboard/gamepad to perform a short series of keystrokes when you are present and actually press the key yourself is okay.

Programming a keyboard/gamepad to perform actions that require no user action or user presence to perform actions when you are away is not okay.

If you're really curious on what the boundries are, go to PlayNC to the support section and search there. If you don't find an answer open a support ticket with very specific information about your question.
